Benissa

Benissa is located in the 'Comunidad Valenciana', in the northeast of the province of Alicante, in the region; 'Marina Alta'. The historic center is slightly inland, separated from the busy coast, at a height of 275 meters above sea level. The characteristic narrow streets of the historic center hide numerous shops and restaurants, not to mention the famous church "Puríssima Xiqueta" built between 1902 and 1929, also known as "La Catedral de la Marina" due to the fact that this is one of the largest churches in the 'Marina Alta' region.

Benissa has a large surface area that extends all the way to the Mediterranean. Here we find a 4 km long coastline full of 'hidden' bays, among others; Cala de Baladrar, El Abogat, Els Pinets and Cala la Fustera.

Variety in gastronomy……Benissa can surprise you in many ways. The traditional mediterranean and international modern kitchens, together with the fine wines from the region, are a guaranty for unforgettable meals at beautiful places.

Sports activities will not be lacking neither, apart from golf courses and tennis courts, sports such as mountain biking, cycling, climbing, horse riding, diving, snorkeling, sailing etc. are practiced in large numbers.
