Benitachell | Poble Nou de Benitatxell

Benitachell, or in the Valencian language 'El Poble Nou de Benitatxell' which literally means "The new town of Benitachell", is a municipality located in the northeast of the province of Alicante in the "Comunidad Valenciana".

The historic center is a few kilometers from the coast, with a central location and easy access to the neighboring towns of Moraira, Javea and Teulada. Benitachell has all kinds of services, such as: schools, public swimming pool and a beautiful golf course located in Jávea, but only 2 km from the center of Benitachell. In addition, it has a coastline of almost 3 km consisting of impressive cliffs with beautiful bays and secluded beaches. With its underwater caves with crystal clear waters and vast natural areas and beautiful hiking trails, Benitachell is a paradise for divers and hikers.

The well-known urbanization of Benitachell, called ´Cumbre del Sol´, translated: Summit of the Sun, which on several occasions has starred in the most famous cycling event in Spain, La Vuelta a España, is the urbanization where the first rays of sunlight shine every morning while it rises over the Mediterranean Sea. The Cumbre del Sol offers beautiful views over the sea and, on clear days, you can get to see the island of Ibiza. Apart from the spectacular views, it also has numerous facilities, such as its own shopping centers with supermarkets, restaurants and bars, an international school with semi-Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts and an equestrian center.
